Intro to Virtual Robot Design Workshop
October 14 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm$15
In this 90 minute workshop, students will be exploring robotics and introducing to Computer Aided Design. Students will learn the basics of designing and building a robot virtually on the computer! Computer Aided Design or CAD is used throughout the process of creating robots to simulate and test different aspects of the design.
Students will be working with CAD software that runs in the web-browser. By combining CAD with the VEX IQ system, students will learn how to find parts and start assembling their creations! Students can then use their skills to design robots to complete this year’s VEX challenge.
