Governor Northam Announces $1.3 Million in Grants to Advance Computer Science Education in Virginia Schools

Governor Ralph Northam announced on February 17th that more than $1.3 million in state grants have been made to support the implementation of Virginia’s Computer Science Standards of Learning. This funding will help increase access to K-12 computer science programs, prepare students for high-demand jobs. The grants were awarded to seven school districts and four colleges. CodeVA is excited to be supporting these schools and districts across Virginia as they work to create CS resources and supports.
