Volunteer

Do you want to be a part of providing computer science education for Virginia students?

Here’s how you can help:

    – Moderate our online learning sessions for children or teachers.
    – Troubleshoot technical and online access issues during sessions.
    – Send supplies and resources to teachers and students statewide.
    – Aid in us organizing and executing other special events.

I want to volunteer!

We are currently looking for Virtual Volunteers with reliable internet access to assist us in being Student Moderators and provide IT support for our upcoming Eureka Workshop kid’s programs, Full Steam Ahead, and Teacher Training events. As we move programs online for summer 2020, Virtual Volunteers will be available to navigate online to help students and Eureka instructors during planned online learning sessions, or workshops and IT troubleshooting.

If you are interested, and would like learn more about how you can help us with our online CS workshops and events, please click the button above or reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator, Affia Pollok. Please state that you are interested in virtual volunteering, and you will be sent information on the available online workshops and events, and a schedule of online sessions that you can sign up for!
